Oklahoma City returns to the Paycom Center Wednesday after a five game road trip where the Thunder finished 2-3. Oklahoma City is overall this season with 11 of those losses coming on the road. It’s location allows you to be most anywhere in OKC in minutes. It’s 10 minutes from downtown and less than 2.5 miles from Tinker AFB. The house has high speed internet and is equipped with all the modern amenities of home. Oklahoma City has played 16 of its 27 games on the road to begin the season, and it hasn’t done any favors.
During your stay, you will have access to walking trails around the pond and 3 neighborhood playgrounds. Access is also provided for the two neighborhood pools and fitness centers for guests staying 30 days or longer. We do not perform injections, nor do we board insulin dependent pets. Boarding can be very stressful for some pets, most especially those who require insulin injections which may result in major health concerns during their stay. It is best to board with your veterinarian if your dog or cat require insulin or any other injection medication.
At home it’s a different story, OKC is 6-5 at the Paycom Center, including winning its last two home games. The Thunder dropped the final three games of the trip after winning the first two. The losing record on the road rings through the season as a whole in the first 27 games. From there on out, this game was neck and neck, with the Thunder racking up a plus-40 point advantage in the paint while Miami hit 24 3-point attempts. A 20-2 second quarter run for Miami was predicated on catch-and-shoot 3-point looks, and eventually Miami built a 21-point lead off of that burst. Understanding that there’s high volatility in the 56 3-pointers Miami attempted, the Thunder stayed resolute and committed to its game plan and punched right back.
